Cool

Hi,

Friends, I take on projects on cars as a hobby. I would like to share how I rebuilt a salvage BMW 530d into a savage great looker... Comments are welcome, good or bad, I will take constructive critism. Just for your info, I have rebuilt close to 23 BMW's in the past, and 7 others including mercedes, porsche, ferrari and VW.
A new 530d with an AC Schnitzer Stage 1 conversion would cost new $102 000 in South Africa, this project cost a total of $39 000 including the car. Fully insured, MOT'd and UNDER MOTORPLAN!!! BMW has approved it 100%.

Enjoy

That's really amazing ! Great work with that car! But I really don't like the "air intake" on the sides and the spoilers you have on your car....

Agreed with E60Sim, but only if when you sell the car, you show the new owner these pictures, then I have no problem with it at all ...

I think you did a great job. I like the small modifications you did around the car. As long as don't change too much from the original look, just don't turn the car into a Civic alike.

Nice Work! Even nicer that you are certified by BMW.

Personally, I would be very concerned about body rigidity and noises after all that, since they creak bad enough straight from the factory. Wish you well with it.

Cheers,
Ray Hull

PS: What was the length of repair time?

Nice Work!!
I always love to see a BMW "brought back to life", looking better than it did!

You certainly have a great talent for this.
