Great excuse! Nice, clean car, Rik! Having friends from E60 compliment your ride...priceless!

Indeed! Thanks for the love everyone! The only thing better than owning an e60 is - owning an e60 and being a member of this great forum!

+1. There's at least 2 (possibly 3) of us driving down to Austin.

Lived there for 18 years and miss it dearly everyday.
I can't WAIT for this one.... I know all the killer places to get some awesome scenic pictures, and the drive down 360 and 2222 will be lots of fun.

Nice.
Does TX require front plates or are you a rebel?
Texas dose require a plate, but it has to be with in 3ft from the ground. Some people put it in the windshield. Its pretty lax here and if your not driving crazy then they usually dont say anything. Many BMW's do not have plates in front from the dealer. If they say something then Fck it, its like $25 ticket.

Man, feel like I could touch the car on my screen, the pics were so clear and the car so shiny.

I'm brown and in Alabama for school for the past two years. Could I pull off a cowboy hat, boots, and a Rebel shirt? All my buds tell me it'll be funny, but something tells me I'll be beaten up by the blacks because they take it the wrong way, or the rednecks for mocking them. I dunno. I'm an attention whore sometimes, and it sounds tempting.
