[/quote]Naw had the 17 inch crapnentals (continentals a/s) with the 124 style wheels nice a quite, but did not take coners well.
Now these babies make the car feel like i have a sports package, they are quite grippy and now the car handles like it should from the factory prob wont get that much life out of the tires and the fact that i can not rotate them and at about 375.00 a tire for the rears and not much less for the fronts no burn outs for me.

Car may look good but still have its problems, this morning car iced out after defrosting the windows and heating up the seats and steering wheel (by the way a option that can not be omitted) i get the window antitrap feature has been disengaged. One touch down works but not up, Is there away to reset this feature by the owner? Then half way to work something with the dsc or traction control malfunctions, is there a way to reset these errors without takeing the car to the shop?????
Nice day so take half day off run the car to the dealer and to my Horror the best Service Advisor probably on the East Coast does not work for the company anymore WTF!!!!
Anywho got another guy that i have dealt with before and they rest the window trap code and the traction code but detects a trouble in the module that is in the steering wheel colume the slz module or something i had the steering wheel replaced 3 weeks ago cause it was peeling and then it clicked with every turn for a week then stopped and now a module faliure. Anyone else had this faliure
Question do you think we as long term owners will ever be able to do anything on this vehical or is it just to technical and timpermental for the diy person. If so we may be in for some hefty charges after the warrenty ends just to get things reset or will BMW give us some type of leway.
I answered the last question myself

Yep, serving my greatful nation and have been for the last 19 yrs and 10 days but who's counting. Va should be our last stop, no plans to move in the future we have family(Mother-in-Law) in Richmond. Hopefully my wife will fall in love with the area, I truely believe she will and I too will live happily ever after.
Is there a dealership (BMW) in the local area?
Thanks for the welcome.
