Good day-

About two weeks ago my room-mate came up and asked me to turn my alarm off. There was no one around the car and it was silent out.... I paid no mind to it. Now three times today it has started at will while sitting in front of my store. Anybody encounter this annoying string of events? If so, what to do? Thanks PK

probably the hood pin switch which is next to the microfilter housing on the passenger side in the engine compartment. common problem for these cars and cheap to fix.

If that hood pin switch is causing the issue, temporarily disconnecting that switch should resolve the issue. Right?

I had this issue too...it was my motion sensor inside the car. My v1 would fall off the hooks and that would trigger the alarm.
