Hello all,

Picked up a short while ago. First pictures, sorry if poor quality. Overall, I love the car. After 10 miles I think I hate the auto shifter. Carbon black, in person, in sunlight, is fantastic. IMO more black then blue, as I said before the NY auto show did nothing for the color. Anyway, going for a ride...

Best to all.

That is a sweeet ride. Only thing that BMW should have done is to not put the orange reflector on fron wheel well. It just seems out of place. It would be nice if there is an aftermarket body color insert to replace the reflector.

How are the wheels? I may have to replace mine with 166's. I can't decide if I like them or not.

Yeah baby! Very nice. That's exactly what I have on order. Did you happen to get the bamboo trim with black interior? If so, a few interior pics would be great. So you just miss the manual or what's the deal with the automatic? I'm debating between the regular and sport automatic - do a lot of stop and go driving in commute so manual is a no go.

Do you mean you should have ordered manual? One thing to note, the automatic will improve with age as it learns.

No J. I would have taken the sport paddles however if current option. The feel of it is odd, just need to get used to it. I know response will improve...just a tactile thing.

The nyas lights made the CB look very "blue", brought out all the metallic. To some good, to some bad. I didn't like what the lights did for the color "nothing" MO. I am very happy with it in "real" conditions.

Best

Black interior with dark poplar....very traditional, maybe boring but my choice. Never had manual...I would have done sport paddles but wanted it now not June build. More pics to follow.

Thanks
