I saw this below from a site called www.bmw545.com.

Options Availability Updates:
HUD & Siruis Satellite Radio are now available as of February production.

U.S. spec cars now come with red reflectors as of February production.

SMG is available on all models with sport package as of March production.

It sounds like this isn't the case???

Hi Brian,

I have the same E60 in Silver Grey (with light grey interior) as you do but only a 520i in Hong Kong. Thinking of upgrading the wheel to your #124 style n they looked so good on your car. Are those 18" or 19" ?

Someone in the forum got a replica of the 545i wheels in 19 inch. I think 19 is the way to go.

Brian

you are directly responsible for my significant loss of money last weekend.

DO NOT get the 19 inchers - this will only lead to more loss of money

Jonboy,

Why did you say 19" no good ? Luckily I only ordered the 18"x8 for front n 18"x9 for rear.

Alex

i was meaning that if Brian gets 19' wheels, takes photos, posts them on this board then I will want some too - hence more loss of money.

the 19'ers will cause a deterioration in ride comfort, whether the improved looks offset this is down to personal preference/experience.

Hi Jonboy,

Sorry, I didn't get your joke the first time. Anyway, I agree with you that 19" maybe too big when this car goes over a bump, n it may catch the fender. Also, I read the original BMW sales brochure, the biggest size they recommended is 18".

I've noticed that on your pictures, the door handles are also with wood trim, is this the case with all 5 Serie's cars with the Wood Trim option? So far most pictures I have seen have the Titanium finish on the door handles. Can someone clarify this for me? Thanks

from what I was told by dealer in US, all cars now with wood trim have wood also on door handles. I've asked if it's possible to request the metal trim on the door handles even though wood trim is on the dash board. So far, he thinks it's not possible.....
