Mustang GT puts out 300 bhp and with good driver could be a serious competitor, since its lighter. But most likely it all comes down to the transmission shifting and handling.

It was probably an '04 or older Mustang GT. With equal drivers, the probability is that he would've lost against an '05+ Mustang GT (w/ manual trans.)

As mentioned in another thread, I had a idiot mustang driver tailgating me today going 70, probably a foot off my bumper. He was trying to pass me. When he finally got around he completely cut me off.
