WOW! thats the 1 word i have to say to explain the 535i. I currently have a 530i 2005 but it had NOTHING on what i experienced today..The 535 was so much smoother and faster and the changes BMW made were perfect. The loaner BMW gave me was a 2009 with only 1,600 miles on it. I would trade my car in for this baby any day but dont you guys think that the starting price is a little high? Everything about this car is perfect, the roar the engine makes, the spooling of the turbos, handling of course, the TPM system, the MP3 menu..EVERYTHING..Even the seats were more comfortable..What do you guys think?

Price a bit high? I think all your positive comments just out-weighed the "higher price"....get one already

My Ride: 2009 535i
I just traded my 08 335i for an 09 535i. Just do it. Yeah, they are expensive, but you are the king in this car. Plenty of room and plenty of speed.
Plus, it just looks great. Gear shift is also different for the 09. Find one of my original posts and check out my pics!
As long as you do not plan on losing your job or dying during the time you are financing and you can afford it, then buy it.
Might I also add...spectacular LCI tailights, tailights, tailights! new with the 08!

Not surprised. That was my feeling as well. It's the best of both worlds, 6 cylinder when you want fuel economy and fast like an 8 cylinder when you get on it.
The best part is that there is so much tuneability left on the table. It could easily be turned into a 400hp monster. 535i with M-tech would be a dream car to own.
I plan to get one as 2nd hand in a couple of yrs. In the mean time, I have opted to go for a 530i for now.
Regards.
