Well, decided to make a couple of 5 min videos on the Magnaflow exhaust now that I have put about 1500 miles on it and broken the sound in. I really love the tone. The first video is somewhat faster speed and the second is slow drive-bys. Hope you enjoy.

nice vids, nice exhaust tone.....too bad i can hear the birds chirping louder than the exhaust

what kindof setup did you end up going with??

You need a subwoofer on your computer to hear it really.

Years ago, I had a magnaflow catback system on a 1996 Cobra that was impressive and I wondered if their part for the 530i lived up to the same standards I experienced then... but I've never seen anyone with this kit.

okay tone is nice...i like it alot...ill ask teh questions first, cuz you know theyre coming...

1. whats the exact setup?
2. is there cabin noise?
3. is there drone?

Thanks. I think with any exhaust you're going to have some drone at that 2500-2900 rpm range but nothing that I've experienced that has annoyed me. I think it depends who your installer is and very important they weld it on properly and mount it properly to prevent droning. The shop I used did a great job. Yes, you can hear it in the cabin -- but you'll learn to love it. All I got installed was the Magnaflow section III axle-back for like $140 and another $100 for install.
