My Ride: 2008 Monaco Blue 535i Sport/Premium Package
Default

I'm starting a thread to post the progress of my car. I picked it up mid July and have just begun to slowly mod it. It's an '08 535i Monaco Blue/Beige with sport and premium package.

So far I've added:
OEM gloss black grilles
Gloss black 535i emblems
AC Schnitzer roof spoiler

Since i added the roof spoiler, giving the car a slightly more aggressive look the sunken offsets of the stock wheels have become VERY noticeable. Also really feels like the car could use a drop.

More to come...

Looking very good.

I have the exact same setup but with alpine white and a few extra options. Are you going to keep those wheels or go with something like M166 wheels? I myself am debating the switch but im also considering just adding some spacers to my rear wheels to make the style 124s look more aggressive. Have you considered M5 bumpers?

I wonder how the gloss black 535 emblems would look on alpine white.

Is this really Monaco blue? Looks great in those light conditions. Kind of gray-blue-purple-graphite.

the emblems are not OEM. i actually got them on eBay for like 30 bucks. they're well made and seem to be a near perfect replica. Here's a link: http://cgi.ebay.com/2004-10-BMW-5-Series-E60-BLACK-EMBLEMS-535i-530i-545i-/320698901308?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aab24e33c

Thanks, was always concern with the quality of the aftermarket emblem. May be now I can go for the the gloss black emblem and black exhaust tips.
