I recently was polishing my exhaust muffler tips and noticed that the muffler, which is a supersprint muffler with all OEM piping aside from the mufler, was vibrating pretty hard. Is this normal for an exhaust/muffler? I noticed multiple rubber attachments that I assume is to dampen this. The thing is I have started hearing a vibration sound coming from the underside of the car near the rear end and it is definetly from the exhaust because when I hold my muffler up with a bit of pressure it goes away. I am wondering if something is excessivly vibrating or maybe my hangers are loose?

Thanks

Maybe it was not attached properly or is coming loose?

When you hold up muffler with a bit of pressure then goes away which 99% attached not properly or coming loose.

I have had it on for 1.5 years without a problem until a few weeks ago. What pieces of the hangers can come loose? I have a dealer apointment coming up, I will get them to check out the hangers.

What about the vibrating in general. I suspect exhaust "rumbles" right? I assume that is normal to have your mufler rumbling or vibrating, whatever you want to call it. Is that true?
