21,000 miles. I can't remember using the horn even once. That's really weird.

I don't remember the horn being to obnoxious? I always use it (politely - usually). Seems like it's a short blast enough. Actually, it saved my
_ _ _ last Frday. ...was driving home from downtown LA: big Caddy/old woman driving real fast and almost hit me turning into my lane without looking...I gave her a toot. She got pissed and followed close behind. I made a quick left with an on-coming car coming quickly towards me. The woman, tailgating me followed right behind without checking the on-coming traffic. I heard a big CRASH and in my rear view mirror, saw her car spinning around in the intersection. I'm sorry for the on coming car - I hope they're both o.k. - her car, I don't care!

It's good that you never use it. I don't either because it doesn't work.
Blackonblack,
I'd say the horn is too polite, not too obnoxious. And there's nothing more annoying than old ladies driving too aggressively for their skill levels.

If your story is an accurate account, she deserves it. I think over 50% of drivers on the road need to go back to driving school and learn the basics. And another 25% need to learn advance driving technics.
I think your numbers are too low. more like 90% and 75% is more like it.
