Hello,

I spilled water in my trunk and then cleaned it out. iDrive worked fine for a week and now won't even start.--no audio, can't eject dvd or cd--just black. Also getting weird dashboard symbols on car like "sos" with a phone symbol as well as the red "brake" light symbol (why?, my ebrake is not on) and the icon with a car on a raised platform.

I looked into the MPM and inside there looks to be corrosion. Crusty film that looks like old dried up blue toothpaste. This is probably the problem, correct?

Could I just buy a MPM on eBay and replace just that? Also, what's up with all those symbols i mentioned? Could it be gone haywire 'cause of a faulty MPM?
