You can say that... you're probably right... but why? Why cant I question it? They can easily save the old supplies for replacement parts. I know BMW has a lot of left over old parts. They're required to save X amount of years worth of old parts. My other cars Xenon light broke and they managed to find a new "older style" xenon to put into my car and not replace it with a new style headlamp.
