MP3 from 6 disk changer

Hi all,
I have a 09/05 525d with business navigation and a 6 disk changer (only 1 drive in dash - used for nav).
The Nav DVD drive plays CDs (both normal and MP3) and DVD MP3s but the 6 disk changer only seems to play normal CDs. Now i know that i could just use a DVD, but i have to remove it every time i plan a route or it reroutes due to traffic which is a pain.
6 CDs containing MP3s would be a better solution. Is there any way to enable the CD Changer to play MP3s?

However, BMW does claim they will offer MP3/6CDC in future
