Hi,
I have 2004 tourer which currently does not support mp3 playback in the centre console cd, single cd and no DVD. I also have CDC in glove box though I understand the CDC is not compatable for mp3 playback. I also have mask 6.5" non nav. I would like to retro code the central cd slot to be mp3 compatible and then go on to install a dens ion gw500 for iPod integration.
Is it possible to recode the required ecu to enable mp3 comparability, i have inpa, dis v44 and v57, and NCSExpert. I have found threads with members stating that they have enabled mp3 via NCSExpert but mobiles or instruction to accompany
