how much brighter are these in the daytime compared to the mtec's?

Motorcepts 5W angel eyes are brighter than MTEC V2.1 I never took any side by side comparison pix. $100 shipped for Motorcepts 5W V2 angel eyes.

I can make it work for LCI halogens. Send me the bulbs and I return it back with the modded angel eyes in there. I basically cut the OEM bulb and shove the new LED AE there.

So you no longer recommend MTEC V2.1 and recommend the 5W V2? It would be nice to get a pic to compare just like what you did before with other brands. Thanks.

i installed mine the other night, not very bright during the day but brighter than stock and very bright at night

i used two twigs to install them too, no need for real tools

Ah I see. But you had pre LCI lights correct? I wonder how these compare with brightness of the LCI angle eyes. I hope its the same.

I have a question PTL on a cloudy rainy day would they be very bright looking? Like noticeable from far away or no?
