No, he's talking about the "V6" based 535i in the U.S.

At least that's what several people wrote.
Well the point is there's a ton of mistake in his post.

It must have been a 550 with two coils pulled out. Ran really rough, too!

His garage speaks for itself? He's owned a 530i, an X5, and a 330, that doesn't say anything, since there are people here who've owned way more cars than him. I mean, some people just blab on too much, he's never had a 550, and he just gotta show it off when he gets one. I'm happy with my "lowly" 525. As I'm sure all owners of the 5 are happy with their 5s as well. Cheers...

Well, now you will make me go find the 550 versus 535i review I JUST read within the last three days and scan it. My recollection was the 535i was very, very close on performance as I would expect and with what I have read these PROCEDE (sp?) and others are doing to the engine/turbo I would not be at all surprised that this 550 jerk could get his head handed to him on a 535i platter. The article did mention the MPG factor as very favorable as well especially in light of the performance factor.

If it is a linkable mag/review I'll post that or if not, scan and post.

Oh yea, "peace out"

My apologies to Rudy, it was the Edmunds article he posted recently (today?) here: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=432926
