Good question!

The picture is of a Euro spec car, and cupholders may not be included. The US spec car must have cupholders!

Here's another image, clearly showing the cupholders.



Makes me think that the non-cupholder image is not a production shot.

This shot also shows a different shifter than in the one I posted earlier today.

I think the one you posted was for the automatic and this one is for the SMG (or the new "automatic sports transmission"). Note the paddles on the wheel...
