Moonroof close
#1
On my old 3 series I could close the windows and moonroof for 2 minutes after I took out the key. The E60 manual says this should work the same way, but mine doesn't. I can only close the windows after the key has been turned off. To close the moonroof I have to turn power back on.
How does yours work? Dealer says this is correct moonroof only closes with key in ignition.

You're probably in the US where things work different... (land of the lawyers).
Here in Germany I can press and hold the lock button, the windows roll up, the sunroof closes, the mirrors fold.

Right, only windows work after car has been turned off in the US, can't close moonroof. I can in my '03 325i but not E60, owners manual says they should work, dealer says no, sounds like function deactivate in US. From remote I can roll windws down and open sunroof but not up. Putting key in door lock and turning they will go up/close or down/open.
