Mods for 535xi
Hi their I I'm new to the forum and also BMW . I just picked up a 08 space gray 535xi with black interior . I love the car but I am look to do some mods to make it faster and also give it a more aggressive look. Just picked up a set of 19" gun metal m5 166 style wheels and h&r lowering spring hope to get them on this weekend . Trying to get some input on what mods I should get look to get a jb4 ,dci, charge pipe bov, down pipes, inter cooler, meth kit and M teck body kit . Hopefully I can get some help on where I can get these mods for a good deal and what I should do first .

where did you get the rims and springs from and how much? I'm looking to get some rims and to lower my 535xi as well.
I picked up mine back in December, it's an 08 monaco blue. So far I have the umnitza m5tech front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper(not installed) for exterior. I have the Cobb AP and honestly it's made a huge difference in the pedal so I highly recommend it.

Thanks man, I'll have to check that site out.
I picked up the rims and springs from a local guy in Boston that had gotten rid of his car. I still need to get one of the wheels straightened, it has a small dent. Roads here in N.E. Suck! I grabbed 'em for 700 w/ practically brand new tires.

I had an M5 bumper put on the front then topped it off with a JB4 G5 and DCI's to back up the new look. It's like a different car now. Oh I did add an oil catch can too.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade but it has been mentioned here that the Xi does not do very well with lowering springs, except for coilovers, as they ride very harsh with spring & shocks. I hope it work well for you.

The OEM 166 wheels will not fit the XI either. Offsets are way off.

umnitza is great except they can't seem to send my order out, it's been almost a month since I sent them the payment and I'm still waiting...
