Was driving along near 59th st and the road dipped all of a sudden and at the bottom of the dip was a raised manhole cover like a little mountain..heard a loud bam and......

Looks like it knocked the center jacking point clear off?, I would need to buy a new cover I guess... would water cause rust there?

ouch! Sorry to see that...
It appears to be an aluminum material underneath so it shouldn't rust but to be on the safe side, I'd get another cover.
