Mmi/ccc - cicr bricked:(? part # undetected
tried to update my CIC using Ista-P and of course stupid me didn’t realize how bad it is to attempt these things with a k+dcom cable.. it stopped along the way on the update (thank god on the CIC and not further in).. now the idrive/screen won’t power on even.. and i hear a noise coming from it the entire time even when i’m just on ignition.. so i think it’s stuck in programming mode from what i read? also, inpa says it’s in mode “12” and protools shows that it just doesn’t have the part number assigned to it.. plz see screenshot.. any help would be appreciated i don’t have the icom cable, but there has to be someway to restore the part number? on WinKFP it told me an error about “set/assign part number” too it won’t let me try to update it in comfort mode.. and i’m not sure what parameters to set for the “expert mode” flashing i read about online it’s a 2010 535i x-drive M, and i got the TCU1.5 MOST GSM US module in the trunk attached to the sat radio to the TOP-HIFI M 07 Verst & MULF2 HI modules.
plz any1 have any idea what to do?
thanks

indeed u did.. this issue actually happened the day you told me not to do it.. i was already in the process of it, i just never realized that it had happened because i can’t even turn the car on right now.. i only realized when i ran scans on the car and saw the part number for the CICR wasnt being detected.. i’m sure there’s a way to assign just the part number to it tho, i’m just learning this crap though so i’m still a “noob” lool and worst case i’ll just buy the correct cable
