MIssing Ski Bag

When I fold down the center arm, I find a sold piece of plastic w/o a button to push to open compartment to ski bag. I too was wondering if ski bag wasn't included in 9/03 build, I have original window sticker and it says cold weather package with ski bag.

If you look from the trunk, do you see a rectangular "cutout" that is the trunk side door? If you do, then all you need is the ski bag cassette to pop into the hole, I think...

Not sure if your E60 is able to accept the ski bag module; however, if you do find out that it *can* accept the ski bag module, let me know.
I replaced my ski bag module with the *two small compartments module*, as shown in the E60 accessories catalog.
I'd be happy to sell the ski bag module to you cheap since I'm not even using it. PM me if you're interested.

"Ski Bag" doesn't means there is an actual bag for skis. It's just a hole in the fold down seat for your skis to pass through the trunk and inside of the car. 
but I do not have it and it is for skis.

I do see a black bag with white BMW on it but that's a medical first aid kit in my car. Maybe there's different configuration in each countries? Like some country REQUIRE first aid kit and some not. Just my thought.

but anyway I found it many times usefull and thank to this forum we have ordered the fold down option, even if some said:why you need that it is not a pick-up
but I can jsut fit in my 4 tires w rimz on to get it to the shop for change (summer-winter and vica versa)."and may optionally feature through-loading including a ski-bag." bmw adv.

some medical bag ....big enough for crutches i gess?
usuall its as described a bag to cover skis inside car fits in cutout like a sock
still thinking about the medical bag.maybe oxygeon cylinder. for high speed driving at high altitudes

I know the ski bag is suppose to be behind the center arm rest between the back seats. I don't have folding rear seats. But I don't find the button to push to open rear compartment and from the trunk side the back seat liner is one solid piece. I don't think I got the ski bag even though it is suppose to be part of the cold weather package. Anyone else have this experience?
