I'm de-badging tomorrow. Someone can figure out that I have a 535i if they have the knowledge and knew where to look. I'm all about the sleeper mode. Stealth is good.
Lol... me too imma de-badge tomorow

this is how i can tell a debagged e60 the shape of the muffler is different on 530 and below and on 535 and up... i made a illustration its not the best but you can get the idea

That's because <= 530 is a single exhaust with a dual outlet, and >= 535 is a dual exhaust with two mufflers shoe-horned in there (with the driver's side one being rotated 90* on the front to back horizontal, hence the "bulge" there).

Debadging means fewer torn-up sponges when washing car.

Also, some light CTS-V badge or the Packard V-8 badge.

I went with the gloss black badges because im working a black and white theme. otherwise I think the debaged look is the best way to go. people rebadging trying to front they have something more is gay.

I think it has everything to do with what your trying to do! if your car is stock and your going to keep it stock then debadge 4 a clean look!

What happens is that when you get the car, after a while the badges 'fall off'

Of course mine fell off too......... with some help from WD40 lol

I am irritated how many E60s there are having no labels telling the car?s engine size (525i, 530i, 530d and so on) in the rear of the car.
Badged is equivalent to walking around naked. ;-)

I prefer the debadged look, that is the simple answer to why I debadged my car........

Nothing wrong with removing the badge. Looks nicer that way.

Something major wrong with re-badging with something else.
