Does anyone know if you can adjust the amount of tilt? On my previous E46M3, there was a custom function (set by dealer) to make this adjustable...

This is yet another thing i cant believe doesnt come as standard. In the states my family has a house which we keep a 2000 Chrysler LHS (which is fully loaded). Its a big american 3.6 litre v6 that has lots of power and can go fairly quick but has to avoid cornering at speed for fear of 'marshmellow'ness leading to a crash.

however it has mirrors which go down when i slap it into reverse...yet my 40 grand bmw doesnt.....

I wish BMW would sort this kind of stuff out. Its absurd to ask this much money for acar and then not load it with very very simple kit.

In the US it is now standard (my 2006 530 has it).

i had this feature on my previous 330 and really miss it on my current car. Does anyone know if it can be retro fitted without having to go for an expensive upgrade on teh seats? Surely the electrics should already be there!

Isn;t it standard? r is that only for the US?

AFAIK it is a feature that only comes with the memory function.
