Hi e60er's!

HELP! got my new e60 530i sports a couple of weeks ago - everything was perfect but now i've noticed that the side mirrors have stopped tilting downwards when i put it into reverse - anyone else come across this and have a solution for me!?!?!?!?!?!?

The mirror adjustment switch has to be on the drivers mirror position for it to work.

My Ride: Current - 330 Sport Topaz Blue, Grey Leather, HK HIFI...lost interest!! Waiting for - 535d Sport, Silver Grey, Foldy Mirrors, 172 19",Logic7,Pro Radio,Through load,Heated Front Seats,High Gloss shadowline,Black Maple,Headlight wash,Sun Protection Glass.

Is this a standard function or part of the dimming and folding mirror option. I'm in the UK and have ordered this option on mine, and wasnt sure if this dipping function was part and parcel.

It would really help protect the wheels from curbing when parking

It should be a standard part of the mirror features for all bmw models. check on the bmw UK website to confirm it.

Not in Europe! They want extra cash for it here!

It was mainly the folding bit I was after for entry in and out of my garage, the tilt down in reverse is a bonus I didnt know I was getting...happy man

You only get the dipping function with option 459 electric seats with memory or comfort seats, in the UK. Standard on the 545i.
