Talking Miro and falken ?

Hi everyone,I am looking to put a full set of Miro 19 111 on my 545 and was looking at using a new set of Falken 452's .I want to replace the stock rims and run flats and save them for any long trips or so.Has anyone used these rims and tires together ,and or anything i should watch for or need? Pretty new to my baby and want it right .

Miro 111s are pretty popular among owners here. FK452s are also proven. However, be prepared to fork out $$$ for rear set every 10-12K miles (this is if you are careful). You will end up going through 3 sets of rears (or more) vs the front ones. I've had FK452s on mine up until a month ago when I had gone through yet another set. I did some looking and found Falken Azenis PT722 All Seasons. They have 40K-mile tread warranty and are semi-performance tires. I love the ride and how quiet it is on the highway. Unless you do a lot of "spirited" driving, I'd highly recommend these.

I wouldn't go with Falken's because its noisy. I would go with Hankook V12 K110's. Let me know if I can help you out with the setup

I had Falkens on another car. They do get VERY noisy once they start to wear. I've always had good luck with Kuhmos, and my friend with an E36 M3 swears by the Hankook K110s.

Good luck, post pictures when you're done.

Thanks Guys. And I was looking at the hankooks also, and Yes Joe if u would let me know on maybe a package I will def Consider that..lol And I was wondering on the noise thing..but now hearing it from the forums and u guys..hmmm settles that.Im not hard on my tires but not that easy either.
But getting off the bricks that are the run flats will be nice. replaced the two rears this spring on those and that could have paid for more than two of the Hankooks lol

The biggest thing Ive seen on the boards for Hankook and then the Falkens is I see a bit of complaints on Vibration and or balancing with the hankooks and i take it there will be issues with Falkens? But noise is noise.

Definitely hankooks over falkens. If you get the your wheel setup road force balanced you should be good. I was lucky when I got my v12's and didn't need road force balancing.

There are hundreds of similar comments in this forum, but honest to god I LOVE the ride I get from the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE050A runflats on our 2012 135i, which, given the performance level, is outstanding. First fast on-ramp on that tire - a sweet little drift to the outside -- flooded me with 30 year old memories of the Pirelli CN36's I had on my 1974 2002.

I also think that the stiff rf ridge on the sidewall is going to offer a little extra rim protection for aftermarket 19's, and they'll need it.
