You must be a road warrior ... I remember those days well!! BMWs love it when you pile on the miles over the road and they sure are better on your body and spirits than the usual fleet issued Fords!

I cover 8 states in the upper Midwest. I usually run my cars about 150k and give them to one of my kids. This one I might drive longer, but we'll see. My last car was a 2002 Saab, and my daughter has it now and it's up to 193k.

Congrats on the galactic cruiser! These cars do us no good sitting in the garage.
LOL no kidding. This is a "driver's car", not a garage queen you just stare at and wonder how much it'll be worth when you finally sell it, right?

I remember those days - so do my kids!! And they always enjoyed my "hand-me-down" work cars - especially BMWs - because I was the only person driving the car - the other seats were rarely used.
Basic rules then and now = No Food | No Smoke. So my cars were always spotless inside - the exterior and windshield got it's share of sandblasting. Used synthetics all the way around since 1986. My dealer & Independent BMW Mechanics always wondered how I got 70-100K out of a set of brakes / rotors ... but I never needed to stop all that much!

Low miles benefit the next owner. Fck that! I'm on the road because it's just damn fun to drive. No one has ridden in or driven my car that hasn't
complimented how smooth it is. And for an I6 it pulls hard and runs great!
What's it worth when I sell it? Not going to worry about it. I'm getting lots of pleasure per mile right now.

First 100,000 miles have been rolled. Remarkably free of any issues, and still running like new.

Wow 100K miles on a 2007. You are a serious driver. I laugh at the almost 30 mph rating. Mine is 16.6 mph.
