if you guys care to share on this... what kind of mileage does everyone get on their 525i 2.5Liters engines, in terms of amount of kilometer per tank? and does it have anything to do with the car not being run in yet? will i get more mileage out of my car per tank after i run-in my engine? My language is kinda scrappy here... Hope you guys get what i mean.. cheers everyone...

On board computer reports 37.1 miles per (UK) gallon. I regularly get between 500 and 550 miles from a full tank. Pretty good for a petrol engine in a biggish car.

All town driving, average speed 23.2mph

For the first 1000 miles I got 27mpg. Now at 2000 miles I am getting about 32.

Seems OK to me all thing considered

While driveing on the worlds longest parking lot , The Long Island Expressway to Riverhead Long Island, my 525 average about 31.6 miles per gallon. Considering I was driving between 60 and 80 MPH I thought that was pretty good mileage. I have about 13, 600 miles on the car. I am extremely happy with that kind of milegage considering the price of gas today.
