Do you know where exactly the turbo lines are? Is this the rubber charge air pipe? Not quite sure what to look at for ordering the parts.

There were a series of them. One of them was by the wastegate/turbos. There is another set by the exhaust under the trunk. They literally disassembled my entire trunk and showed me the vacuum line that was by the rear muffler. That one was bad too. Honestly, it didnt look too much like a DIY job, but then again I don't know the N54 motor like that. It's not like my supra where everything was laid out very simple. This motor has tons of lines and wires going from here and there to god knows where. Take it to a turbo shop they maybe able to replace the lines for significantly less. In the end I paid $400 to get it all done. Good luck and let us know what happens.

I have a 2008 535i that just past 101,000 miles. No problems except for the HPF changed under warranty. Doing some preventative maintenece this week. Changing the serpentine belt and tensioners, Upper and lower radiator hoses, transmission fluid and rear end oil.

Geez, some of you guys are really stacking on the miles and see that makes me confident! I just got my 545i with just over 90k on the clock. No issues with it at all, but then again I just bought it. I did have the active steering thing come up but I was able to reset it thanks to the search bar!

Good luck !
