Like the E60 high mileage topic but forced induction only in this page.

I currently have 08 535xi with 88000 KMs.
Hoping to drive towards 160,000 KMs.
Just wanna know if anyone drove further than I could
And had any major issues?

Thanks for all your inputs

Just got mine with 27.6k miles on it!

I hope it will go well into the 100k miles.

My 2006 530i was in the 90k mile range before I sold it.

67K On mine and no major issues. I do notice a little stumbling sometimes, very slightly though and if I am behind someone for a while with anticipation to pass, when it finally comes clear and I go, but not too aggressive, I sounds like a slamming noise and a shake. Kinda strange. I figure its something in with the turbo wastegates... I am also using the JB4.

How about oil leaks at > 100k, wondering if any better than the older e39's that seamed to leak like a sieve after 100k.

You have cracked turbo lines. I cannot believe that a car of this caliber has cheap rubber hoses instead of steal braided lines. I had this issue, the parts are less than $30. The charge for labor was $375. But my car ran like a champ after. Do not be reluctant to fix this issue, it WILL get worse.

Just hit 115,000 MILES and my 2006 M sport 530D is as tight as a drum. I change the oil every 11,000 miles (instead of the instructed 19,000). I never drive the car over 2,000 revs/min until the System reaches optimum temperature - THIS IS THE KEY TO GETTING HIGH MILEAGE. I've had the car for the last 60,000 miles and the only PM I've done is change the crankcase breather ?60 and installed a new battery myself ?139.

Most engine wear is on warm up.

I'm keeping my car until there is 220,000 MILES on the clock
