My Ride: 02" Porsche Carrera 911
Coming from a E60 530i to a Porsche and being on this forum, i've noticed many "Drivers" who drive either Porsche or BMW seem to be big fans of Both..i sold my 530i and use the 911 as a daily driver, but now i'm feeling i want to get an older E39 2000-2002 540i or M5 as a daily driver & put less miles on the porsche plus still enjoy a "Driving" experience with a daily E39...seems to me BMW & Porsche go hand in hand...both "Drivers" cars...did this post make sense? lol...Below was my 530i i sold when i got the porsche!

Cant wait to see the new range of 911's (998) when they launch later this year / 2012.
Love the current Gen2 911 (997) 2S with the Sports Chrono pack, sports exhaust and PDK - although I was never a fan of the button-style steering mounts. The proper paddles are much better. Amazing drive. So planted even when you do over 170mph; or so I hear!

Yes sir, you are absolutely correct. After finding a new home for my 951 track car and stepping into a 550i for a daily driver, I've been itching to get back into a Porsche. Luckily, a good friend drives a twin turbo 996 and is open to swinging with cars??? I feel dirty.

There's just something about the german cars that separates them from all other cars.

The Italians can also make beautiful and amazing cars but unfortunately they lack reliability. Efficient German engineering is a crucial bolt in their car industry's ability to deliver performance, reliability and technical superiority time after time; look what the VW umbrella has done for the new Lambo's. Here in the UK we used to have Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce but sadly we now appear to be a service-led economy with no real tangible industry compared to our EU neighbor's.
