Eh you already have one E60. Go for the new E 500 with the 388hp or better yet get the E 55.
OMG forget the E... get the CLE if it looks like this!!!!

I've seen tons of CLS's and even a couple of CLS55 models. I test drove a CLS500 one week prior to settling on an E60. And no, you won't bump your head getting into the car. Looks can be deceiving. It's a beautiful car with daring inspiration behind its design. If I had the money, I'd park one of those next to my 550i!

I don't know, I bumped my head when I was scoping out that car in the showroom. Could be just me

Yea, me too and right under 6'. I drove the 6er into the lot and checked out the CLS. They thought they might have a convert - HA  . Never had any difficulty getting into / out of 6er but CLS was a chore. Just wanted to see if it was as bad as I thought. It was. If I needed a sedan it would have to be a 5 or 7 series. A coupe is 2 doors - you get those at BMW
I noted a lot of the BMW bashing on MB boards is for our interiors. Claims of "cheap plastic" "iDrive" "interior door treatment" "fake wood", I laugh - it is just right for me

when I was in the showroom they ask me what kind of car do I drive, I said E60 and the sales said "why you want to change" Convert? Never.
The guys at MB forum just like to disrespect others in anyway they can because they think they have a MB and they can do that I have respect for the MB like the AMG CLK DTM or the CLK GTR street car that's it. They do have good technology but I just don't see myself driving one.

Interesting comments from E Class owners ... some shift towards liking the E60 looks (most still do not), but E60 is recognized hands down as the better driving machine.

No, I'm not going over to the dark-side. The Mrs. is looking into getting a MB wagon and I wanted to research it a bit. She refuses to "copy" me and get an E60 ... so no hope there.

Look at the CLE, there is no rear door panel. The design is similar to Saturn or 4-door truck.
The picture that "EBMCS03" attached looks much much better.
