The amazing E60 just keeps going and going and going. May sales of the 5 series were up slightly over last year (+0.1%). Sure, the early 2010 model year launch and great deals on '09s helped E60 sales, but when the entire industry is down 34%, staying level no matter how you got there is very impressive.
What's Hot
Utes - Ford Escape, Jeep Wrangler, MB GLK, Audi Q5, Buick Enclave, GMC Yukon, and the Cadillac Escalade all selling well
Sports - Camero and Challenger both selling strong, and so is the Audi A5
Hyundai Genesis sold 2,079 units (compared to the E60s segment leading 3,904)
Honda Insight sold 2,780 units (the Prius is down 30% but still sold 10,000 units)
VW Jetta (+28%)
What's Not
Jeep Patriot (-71%)
VW Passat (-71%)
Toyota Matrix (-69%)
Smart ForTwo (-57%)
Honda Accord (-48%)
MB S Class (-47%)
BMW 7 series ? ... not exactly off to a fast start
