My Ride: 2006 525i Msports. Sapphire Black on Black. Cube Aluminium Interior. Matte Black Grills.

Went away for a few days and suddenly found life on the Msian thread again. Brilliant!

WLT, are you referring to the angle eyes when you say white markers? If you are visit Motorsport Division in Sunway.

Note to those running run flats. I found multiple cracks (longest was 2 inches) in between the threads of my RFTs recently. They had not done more than 18k km. Not sure what would happen but dont think any of us want to find out. Pls check your tyres. Maybe RFTs not made for our weather?

I took my e60 outstation for the first time last weekend. What a great way to travel! Didnt travel beyond 180km (but dont tell the wife!) as I had kids in the car. Was trailing a black 530 with black grills for a short while. Pretty cool to run a near identical 2 car convoy (my car is black with black grills as well) but was of course blown away by the 530. It must have been doing 200/220 km. Belongs to anyone here?

btw, anyone has any comments about AB and their service?
WLT, havent done a maintenance service with them if thats what you are asking. Bought my pre owned 525 from them and the service sucked! But only after payment was made of course.

Hi All,

Am driving a 2004 525i Japan-spec E60, staying at Shah Alam, and enjoy browsing and reading the many articles in this forum. Looking fwd to more discussion here...

Anyone encountered iDrive fault messages (eg. Active Steering, Airbag) that pops up out of nowhere but somehow disappeared after you turn off the ignition and restart again ?
Hi,

Nice to know that there are many Malaysians here too Regarding Chan's question, I suspect your battery is dying off, so you might wanna have that checked That's why you are getting all the error messages popping up once in a while.

Hi dnhoh,

Same thing happened to my non-RFT too, had to replace all 4 Michelin Premacy even though the threads are still like 80% because the sidewall chipped and visible signs of crack. I suppose it could be due to ageing and the compound used. Replaced them with Falken FK452 but I still prefer the ride on Michelin.

Thanks bro, I bought a set of Helix Competition components & amps for the car, but haven't installed them yet. I heard them on another friend's car, it was awesome, so I imported the Helix immediately! I might be selling the car so I'm not sure if I'm still installing them

Yup, the leather was done by a shop in Sunway, and the work was not really good, they broke a few plastic parts in my car also, so I'm quite disappointed in them. Anyway, too late to do anything now
