M5 Wheels and Tires on 535xi.
#1
I am looking to put the M5 wheels on my new 535xi, but I would like if someone can help me and answer a few questions I have.
1. What are the sizes of the front and rears M5 wheels? What's the offset? And what size tires are on each?
What would I need to do to make this swap work?
I was thinking its probably just a matter of changing tire sizes, but any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Well Zaz,
i had a similar question but the i got the answer it wouldn't be that easy to put on those 166 style rims on a x-drive car since we have another offset.
If you put on these rims they will come out of your bumpers when looking onto your front/rear (can't explain it better )
BTW: this might help too http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=25698

F: 8Jx18 ET 43 (245/40/18)
R: 9Jx18 ET 55 (275/35/18)
M5 wheels are:
F: 8.5Jx19 ET 12 (255/40/19)
R: 9.5Jx19 ET 28 (285/35/19)
That's a big offset difference!

Unfortunately, the rest of us in the xi family wanted the same thing a while back, but the offsets just won't work. However, if you look into 3 series wheels, these will work for the most part. You need offsets of ET35-ET40.
To give you an idea, I have the M3 CSL wheels on my car and they fit perfectly. Specs are: ET40 and ET45 (Front and Rear, respectively).
