It's my understanding that the PDC Sensors cannot be "repainted" ... probably something with the paint causing the sensor to "think" an object is close by. That may be more an issue with metallic paints but to test it maybe you could paint one and see if it causes a problem. I'm also not sure what might happen if you try to remove paint from a PDC sensor - especially if you have to sand it off. These things are not cheap - so a mistake could cost ya!

Let's see...do we all have paint on our cars? Sure! On the PDC sensors too? Yep! I've painted over mine with 3 coats paint 4 coats clear and yes METALLIC paint. Where do you guys get this info? lol. I've done it at least a dozen times so no need to test, and what do you think happens when you get a black plastic bumper with black plastic PDC sensors? They get painted!!! OP- do whatever you want. No opinion.
