It's my understanding that the PDC Sensors cannot be "repainted" ... probably something with the paint causing the sensor to "think" an object is close by. That may be more an issue with metallic paints but to test it maybe you could paint one and see if it causes a problem. I'm also not sure what might happen if you try to remove paint from a PDC sensor - especially if you have to sand it off. These things are not cheap - so a mistake could cost ya!
