Saw this beauty in the parking lot while I was at service today, and was wondering the areas that are painted black on the front bumper, can I use plasti dip on my car to get the same look or is that bad? If not what can I do?

Plastidip will probably be fine. However, I would advise you to sit on the idea. Personally I think it's a novelty thing where it looks kind of cool/striking at first, but you'd regret it after a week or two. Though Plastidip wouldn't make it too difficult to remove.

I get the look he was going for but I'm not a fan either.

Just make sure you can remove it easily if you get bored/tired of it. IMO, its looks ok for that specific bmw being WHITE with some black mods.
I'd suggest you to mask it with painter tape or just scotch tape, the just grab a sharpie or alike and paint it. If you really like it. go for the real thing. if not, just a peel away. Good Luck.

I bet you anything that dude's car was black before and he painted it white. When my car was black and had it painted white the shop was too scared to paint over the PDC so they left them black. There was no way I was going to leave my sensors looking like that so I did a bit of research and convinced them that it would be fine and they went ahead and painted over them. Personally, I think that would look pretty ugly if you went out of your way to paint them black, but whatever floats your boat.
