is the m5 boot/trunk the same fitment as all e60s

hi
my friend is looking to add a m5 rear spoiler and a trunk finisher to his 520i e60 2003- he has been offered a boot/trunk with a m5 spoiler and trunk finisher allready fitted and in the same colour, is this a simple bolt on bolt off? will all the locks etc match up? both e60s so shorley it will??

Well 1st off, I think you'll lose the use of the key hole when you install the finisher & as far as the spoiler, you'll need some sort of adhesive which Im pretty sure someone will shed some light on in a couple seconds

Changing trunks is a pretty radical thing to do when the 2 pieces will only cost about 350 usd + painting but hey ......why not !

The boot lid itself is a straight swap from what I have seen.

My Ride: 530d M Sport. It has Heads Up Display...need I say more...
The bootlids are interchangeable but you will have to swap the lock over. The finisher and spoiler are only held on with a strong double sided tape. You can buy the pre cut kits so your friend does have the option of swapping just the bits over. If the cost of the bootlid is les than buying the items individually then definitely change the lid/bits over.
