My Ride: 2007 530i. sports package :]
Default

Hi guys I'm planning on purchasing a 2007 525i and I want to add the M5 body kit. This brings me to two questions:

A) Would the whole "look" seem a little off if I only install the front kit? If so, can I fix that but just installing the sides skirts without the rear kit?

Is there an aftermarket kit that looks just as good as OEM?

Thanks guys I would really appreciate your help!

PM nerweezy or trinityautosport. They are a great SoCal vendor and well trusted on this forum.

I think the front bumper along with the sideskirts would be cool.

Thanks jonezz. My car would have looked retarded

and I was also wondering.. I've been looking through ebay in search of OEM LCI tail lights, but it appears that they won't fit in a 2007 525i??

Is there a way I can make this work? or.. are there any aftermarket LCI tail lights that are just as good as OEM?

I humbly as the pros.

Pinguhk, so what you're saying is that... pre-LCI the M5 kit will fit, but not LCI?

PJK0159,
What Pinguhk means is that, the kit he has will fit only the 5 series made from 03 - 07 (Pre LCI cars).
You PJK0159, have a Pre-LCI car.

Well, I did my front bumper and my sides together and had them for over 5 months till I decided to do my rear bumper.
You can do that also but I wouldnt advise that at all, its always better to get everything done at the same time.

To fit OEM LCI tail lights you would have to buy both the tail lights and also buy a converter cable to fit it.
I know one vendor on ebay sells both OEM Tail lights and also converter cable
I believe he is in Irvine California if you want to go visit him

You have 2 options with him for the converter cable
1. Bruce Cable
2. Hella Cable

Since your in Chino Hills, you can go visit TrinityAutoSports in Tustin, CA (Its 1--1.5 hr drive from where you are if I am not wrong -- Used to live in Fullerton a while ago)
He should be your best bet for buying the stuff and having it installed
