Currently I have the stock 17" rims style #116 225/50/17. I am moving to the M5 style #166 rims and want to put 245/35/19 in front and 275/30/19 in the rear. My question is will the new rim/tire combination give me a similar gap between tire and fender or will the gap be noticeably larger? I do not want to lower the car with shock changes. I am fine with the gap on the stock setup and was wondering if I need to change the dimensions of the tires I was originally thinking of putting on. Then there is the question if I do change the change the tires to get that gap right, will my new choice rub, etc.

Thanks for your help,
Phil

There will be less tire so the gap might look bigger. Those sizes should fit from what I've seen other people use but you can't change the tire diameter because then you would have problems!
