Currently I have the stock 17" rims style #116 225/50/17. I am moving to the M5 style #166 rims and want to put 245/35/19 in front and 275/30/19 in the rear. My question is will the new rim/tire combination give me a similar gap between tire and fender or will the gap be noticeably larger? I do not want to lower the car with shock changes. I am fine with the gap on the stock setup and was wondering if I need to change the dimensions of the tires I was originally thinking of putting on. Then there is the question if I do change the change the tires to get that gap right, will my new choice rub, etc.
Thanks for your help,
Phil
