m3 v. e60

Wondering if anyone has made the switch to the m3 from their e60? My order is on its way for a 2011 m3 coupe and I never got a chance to drive it even near to capacity. Coming from a 530i I am anticipating it to be a rocket shipt compared to this. I am wondering however how it compares to the e60 550i? I understand on paper the torque factor is big, but in a seat-of-your-pants type of feeling, how does the m3 compare to the n62 engined cars? I have driven a 550i to its limits of acceleration anyway and just curious about a comparo

Worst decision of my life. You'll hate the M3. You should cancel your order right now and buy a Nissan leaf.
When you do get the Leaf, be sure to compare it to the E60 in every fucked up way you can think of.

Biggest thing to get over is the size, I went from a 3 series to a 5 and was ready to go back to 3, until I sat in one and I couldn't do it. I'd go M5 before M3.
