M167 or M172 wheels
I'm hoping to get some opinions on which wheel you guys prefer on a non-sport Black Sapphire Metallic with Mtech Kit.
167: Sporty with aggressive looking finish (the slits in the spokes look especially nice on black cars)
172: Elegant design but still looks strong due to the straight (non-curvy like the 167) spoke design
If I am to understand correctly, both wheels offer 60 lbs total weight savings. So, what do you guys think looks the best on the car described?
Thanks
If anyone wants to show some pics of the wheels on their respective cars, please do...

Here are the pics of a non-m-sport with M172s, although it does have the ACS front lip, pic taken from here: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?autocom=ga...&album=1282

Here is a black E60 with M167s, pic taken from here: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...amp;hl=550+167s

Depends what you are after; the M167 is very agressive/purposeful, M166 (M5 rim) is more stylish+subtle and the M172 is somewhere in between. I would personally choose between the M167 or M166 -- the M172s just don't look right on non-m-sport cars IMHO, but in all fairness I have not seen to many examples of this set-up.

the 172's straight lines go well with the E60's angular design
the 167's look really good and sporty, but since they're only 5 spokes, they'll reveal the brakes underneath. i feel like you'd need large cross drilled brakes to complement the 167's.

I prefer 167, they are a bit brutal but certainly easier to clean
