Installing is not the issue. The issue is the aftermarket side skirts are shorter than the OEM. In that case, yes, there are no issues with installing a shorter aftermaket sideskirt.

Did the $350 also include removal?? If so, sounds like a great price.

Sweet. I thought I was going to need to pay around $450 per bumper. Remove old, paint new, install new.

To everyone else.... what did you pay?

As another poster says, depends on the shop and area.

My shop / painter said he would paint my new M5 Front Bumper for $350, then assemble and install (including the new fogs) for $475... Very good shop with experience in high-end cars..

SD5Series -

Did you pull the trigger yet on which bumper to get? I'm in the same scenario as you too.. keeping the side skirts and rear bumper stock. I am going with the M5Tech front bumper. Looking to pull the trigger in the next few weeks.. pull try to remember to post pix once this is done

I haven't pulled the trigger yet, for some odd reason, I don't want a front bumper everyone has, but just some only have, so I'm just keeping an eye on options. If I was still working for a car shop when I was in my early 20's, I would of modded one but I just don't have time to do that anymore. Seeing if one guy will drop the price on that maxton and sell me the front bumper, then i'll get it even though it's just fiber glass. I don't see myself running into things, and if I did, i be replacing the whole front with insurance =P
