Like the title says, my M steering wheel has a plastic layer that covers it and some of it is starting to peel.

Anyone had this happen? What do you recommend I do?

That looks good but it would require I take apart my steering wheel...and that seems a little too involved from some of the DIY threads I've seen.

I thought I might as well remove all the plastic covering on that part of the wheel....revealing the glossy plastic underneath.

I'll try....not too optimistic! This is the type of thing they'll try to ignore or tell me it's not covered under the warranty!

I've had this annoying noise coming from one of my speakers when the stereo is turned off and tried getting it fixed since I picked up the car and they can't recognize the problem or hear it...even when I point it out! The fact I'm a record producer/sound engineer may have something to do with my being more "aware" of acoustic issues with the car but I've noticed unless it's a obvious mechanical problem...they don't care!

I'll give it a try nonetheless!!

This is happening on my M steering wheel as well. It's not as bad as yours, but it is happening. Sucks.

replace it with a carbon fiber trim from ebay. That could be an option.

That's something I'd like to do...I'd have to go with carbon fiber for my interior trim as well, I don't think the cf on the steering wheel would go very well with the wood finish I currently have.

Do you know where I can find this on ebay?
