Just thought I'd share this with you. Parked the car the other day in front of a tree with some small roots sticking up. When I reversed away the bumper caught a root and buckled slightly but went back to its original shape ok. When I got home I had a quick look to see if it had cracked at all and noticed the two outer meshed parts were missing (next to the intakes) . I thought at first they had been stolen but I drove back to the tree anyway to check and found them both intact. They simply snapped back on. So beware if you catch your bumper on anything, they could pop out and knowing BMW they won't be cheap to replace.

Mine fell off after I'd had the car about a week; I've not bothered to replace them.

Mine also fell off within the last week.

Very strange. Left side in front of left front tire. I have no idea how it happened.

So Cal
