Default Lumbar support

Hi all.
I've just swapped over from a e92 Msport to an e61 Msport.
My e92 had manual leg extension and electric lumbar support. I think this is standard for the Msport.
My e61 has electric leg extension but I can't find the button for lumbar support.... Do all Msport have lumbar support in the e6x range??
Cheers

The original seats in my 2006 E61 had "fat guy seats" (no real lumbar support). We found them to be lacking for really long road trips, and I swapped them out for a pair of Sport seats, which had the adjustable side wings, moveable lumbar support, plus the electric leg extension. FWIW, the leg extension didn't work on one of the "new" (used) seats, and the other failed shortly thereafter. I'm guessing that it's possible to order an Msport model with "not-sport" seats. Maybe you could find a set on the used market?

Any chance you could post a photo of the adjustment button for the backrest/lumbar support?
I know in my e92 I drove it for about a year before I realised it had adjustable lumbar support as the button for it looks as though it would do something else......

I've been searching all afternoon and looks like the side bolster/lumbar support adjust switch will be exactly the same as on my e92. Horizontal switch with arrow's both ends.
So I definitely don't have adjustable lumbar support and swapping for seats that do seems very unlikely here in N.Z.......
Has anyone opened the seat up and added more foam to permanently bulk out the side bolster?
Seems like an easy fix unless there is something that would make it unfeasible.
Cheers

Sorry, I don't think I have any good photos of my sports seat controls. You should be able to find something online though.

IIRC, the lumbar was a large(ish) circular control with four way activation (adjusting it up/down and in/out). The "side wings" were adjusted with two small round buttons above the lumbar control. The leg extension was a funny-looking "lumpy" button toward the front of the control panel. The fore/aft and recline adjusters were probably like your current seats (pretty standard, like every other car I've had with electric seats).

I have the high-end comfort seats with active backrest width adjustment, but buttons are the same for regular comfort seat. Here are the key buttons. I didn’t label the normal bottom cushion and rear cushion buttons.

So I got it sorted, heres a quick run through of what I did....
For anybody else that might want more comfortable seats but doesn't want the hassel of finding and installing new comfort seats from a different vehicle.
I got a big ratchet strap, as used for holding loads down on trailera. Now this is a BIG strap, not one from your local hardware store, rates to about 10T I think.
anyway... Wrap that around your seat and pull it tight, then just start cranking away until she don't crank no more.
My seat is now nice and tight and hugs me better than my e92 comfort seats.
Happy days!
