My Ride: 2005 545i- Titanium Gray
I am lowering my 545i soon and I have already purchased the H&R Sport Springs. My question is this, will the ride be crazy stiff? My car is not a sport, I just dont want it to be too stiff or uncomfortable. I have seen some people talking about changing shocks etc when they lower. Is this something I need to do or should I be good with springs alone?
I will be running 20's if that helps anyone with feedback.
Thanks
Jake

I would recommend new shocks as well. Your factory shocks are designed for stock ride height. The H & R's will add more stress to your factory shocks and will wear them out prematurely at which point you will need new shocks and have to pay for installation...AGAIN. Do it all at once and you'll save the cost of labor the second time. I had a modded Civic prior to my E60, and from my past experiences with modding...while it may cost more and you may have to save a little more (being patient)--do it right the FIRST time, it will SAVE you money in the long run. Hope that helps! GL!
